143 Nigerians abandoned in Libya show up Lagos

  About 143 Nigerians abandoned in Libya have been gotten by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Tuesday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.The Director-General of NEMA, Mustapha Ahmed, who was addressed by the Acting Coordinator of the Lagos Territorial Office of the Agency, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, spread the word about this for the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

  Farinloye said the abandoned Nigerians showed up at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at around 3:18 pm with Boeing 737-800 Al Buraq Air with enlistment number 5A-DMG.

  He said the returnees were taken back to the country by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) through a willful bringing home programme.He said the program was intended for the upset Nigerians who had passed on the country to look for greener fields in different European nations yet couldn't bear to return when their process became baffled.

  Farinloye said 96 male grown-ups, 36 female grown-ups, eight male and one female kid, one female baby and one male newborn child were taken back to the country.
