Nigeria miss out to Tunisia on Day 1 of Africa Men Handball Championship

  Nigeria started their 2022 Africa Men Handball Senior Championship with a 30-18 loss to Tunisia. The Golden Arrows stood head to head in the primary half against the record Africa Champion to play energizing handball in the main half which finished 14-13 to the joy of the fans.But then Nigeria dropped the sorcery of the principal half and committed a few errors and turnovers in the last part which guaranteed that the Tunisians rebuff them with an unequivocal 30-18 triumph. Mentor Rafiu Salami said his group didn't take their risks and permitted unremitting turnovers which made the Tunisians to be ahead in enormous time of the match.
  "We had a strategy and the folks stuck to it and to that end we played well in the main half". Mentor Rafiu Salami expressed "Yet in the final part, we were excessively anxious to score which caused the turnovers and afterward we were excessively terrified to play since we were playing not surrender objectives rather than to play to win" The France based mentor said the group will improve against Cape Verde as this was the main top side they will play to the side the Abuja based clubs. 
  "All trust isn't lost as I accept we will improve against Cape Verde who by the way are an excellent side.I accept we will come through and do all that could be within reach to win". 
  Nigeria will play Cape Verde on Tuesday and a triumph might be sufficient for the Golden Arrows to get into the quarter finals.
