Remo Stars versus Ijebu United: Investigations opened into claims of match-fixing
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to open an examination concerning match-fixing claims in a local FA Cup last match.
Last weekend, film of a punishment shootout became famous online, showing Remo Stars goalkeeper stopping and his partners playing their kicks yards wide.
They proceeded to lose 3-0 on punishments to Ijebu United in the last of the Ogun State Cup last.
NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, has depicted the episode as "humiliating".
Sanusi likewise affirmed to ESPN that an examination will be sent off.
He added: "There will be an examination. It is extremely, humiliating.
"I have previously coordinated the top of the NFF Head of Integrity to deal with the examination."
