Kenneth Okonkwo dumps APC, gives justification for Muslim tickets

  Nollywood entertainer, Kenneth Okonkwo, has surrendered his enrollment of the All Progressive Congress (APC)Okonkwo offered his letter of abdication to the Chairman of Nkpunano Ward, Nsukka, Enugu State. He said he was stopping the APC following the choice to have a Muslim ticket for the 2023 official political race.

  Reported that the official up-and-comer of the party for the 2023 political decision, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had on Sunday in Daura, Katsina State declared previous Borno State lead representative, Kashim Shettima as his running mate. Tinubu and Shettima are the two Muslims. 

  In his renunciation letter, Okonkwo reminded the APC that he went along with it when he considered it to be a vehicle to battle against injustice.The previous governorship hopeful said: "Those standards are currently strange to the APC with their sad choice to paint our Muslim siblings in terrible light by suggesting that the Muslims in Nigeria won't acknowledge to decide in favor of a Northern Christian as Vice President to coordinate with Southern Muslim.

   "On the off chance that Muslims could deliberately decide in favor of southern presidents, it is then an error to imply that they can't acknowledge a northern Christian VP.
